Patrick leads PwC Malaysia’s Economics & Policy Practice group. He has extensive economics advisory and public policy experience, in both Malaysia and New Zealand. He has worked for the New Zealand Treasury and as an advisor to senior elected officials. His experience as an applied economist includes assessing the impact of policy initiatives and events on key economic sectors such as oil & gas, retail, manufacturing, real estate, agriculture, transport and tourism. In recent times, Patrick co-led the study on TPP economic impact on Malaysia and was involved in Malaysia’s Economic Transformation Programme as Greater KL lab leader. Patrick studied economics at the University of Auckland including post graduate studies on competition economics.
